“Explosion-proof electric motors” from FFD are suitable for use in the chemical industry. They are designed for operation in potentially explosive environments – Zone 1, Zone 2, Category 2G – and suitable for Group IIA, IIB, IIB+ (including hydrogen) or IIC. The housing is mechanically very resistant and prevents the explosion from penetrating the electric motor. The temperature class is T5. This means that the maximum temperature of the surface of the electric motor does not exceed +100°C.
